There was once two worlds, equal yet opposite of one another. One could not exist without the other.

One was the world of light, and one was the world of dark.

All was well in the two worlds... Until one day, disaster struck.

In the way that deities do, fighting broke out between the light and dark gods. This disrupted the balance, throwing both worlds into chaos.

Within this chaos, the being of light, Chiaro, was displaced into the dark world, and the being of dark, Scuro, was displaced into the light world.

Now, each must find their way home and restore balance to their worlds.

Chiaroscuro is a level-based, 2D puzzle platforming game, in which two controllable characters are on screen at the same time. Explore the light and dark worlds as both Chiaro and Scuro. Solve puzzles and attack enemies. Play alone or with local co-op.
